Speaker - Mona Chavez, MA, PBACC

Mona Chavez is a world traveler, sociologist, fitness instructor, DEI consultant, and owner of Inspiraethos. She enjoys writing and speaking on the topics of wellness, building communities and belonging. Mona was born in Mexico, was raised in El Paso, and relocated throughout the USA/England. She won the TWU Book in Common award and is a collaborative author in the Hispanic Rising Stars book, by the We Are All Human Foundation. She holds a B.S. and worked in Public Health for 15 years. Recently, Mona completed her M.A. in Sociology where she’s been able to combine her values in Community, Wellness, and Culture. Her research includes Belonging with a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Diversity and a concentration in Women’s Studies.
