Presentation Overview:

Lunch and Learn - IT Governance at the University of Texas System Shared Information Services

Many requests and not enough staff, money, and time. Effective governance balances customer needs with available resources to support and enhance effective campus administrative systems. Come learn how campuses supported by the University of Texas System Shared Information Services (UTSIS) balance collective decisioning with individual needs and practices to maximize service delivery for the shared HCM and Finance systems.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Attendees will be able to describe the elements of governance used at the University of Texas System Shared Information Services to prioritize and deliver campus requests.
  2. Attendees will be able to apply governance tools at their own campus.
  3. Attendees will be able to compare IT governance strategies and tactics at a single campus versus in a shared environment supporting multiple campuses.
