Presentation Overview:
We’ve all been there—you’re asked to create a “deep dive” on just two or three slides, and suddenly, you’re cramming dense data into 10-point font, violating every design principle you know is best practice. Or you’re presenting an important project update, but the audience isn’t engaged, and your key message gets lost.
The problem? You’re a project manager, not a designer. And yet, your ability to communicate effectively through slides and storytelling directly impacts how well your message lands with stakeholders, teams, and executives.
This session takes inspiration from Nancy Duarte’s school of design and will equip you with practical strategies to transform your presentations—without needing a graphic design degree. We’ll cover:
- Why even your project update is a presentation worth designing effectively
- The core principles of visual storytelling and slide design
- How to structure your narrative to move your audience and drive action
- Techniques to balance executive expectations with effective communication
By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with a better approach to presentations that ensures your message is clear, compelling, and impactful—without the stress.
