Presentation Overview:

Lunch and Learn - Learning to Lead with Agility

Regardless of the project management techniques your organization chooses to utilize (predictive, agile, or hybrid), do you as a project manager instinctively desire to improve the communication, stakeholder engagement, or effectiveness of business/technology partnerships to deliver higher value for your customers?

In this interactive session, discover how one research university’s Project Management Office (PMO) was founded under challenging circumstances. Even before the director had Agile expertise, she focused the process improvements on her stakeholders—and unexpectedly learned to lead with Agility.

Come enjoy the engaging storytelling, gain a practical overview of Agile practices, and discover how you may influence your organization’s Agility with a few simple steps.

Learning objectives

  • Learn about a university PMO founding use case
  • Review the Agile Manifesto and Principles
  • Reflect on how the project management to launch the PMO did/not align with Agile best practices
  • Consider how the PMO use case may influence your organization’s Agility
