Our Speaker: Velma Jackman
Consultant at an International Healthcare Architecture Firm

Velma Jackman is a practicing healthcare transition consultant who helps leaders bring their organizations through significant change related to facility construction projects. Currently a consultant with an international healthcare architecture firm, Velma has also held leadership positions in a medical school, hospitals, and in large healthcare systems in Texas. Her education includes a master’s degree in computer education and cognitive systems, certifications in project management (PMP) and healthcare IT (CPHIMS), and process re-engineering as a LEAN Green Belt. She is currently completing her Strategic Leadership doctorate at Regent University with a focus in Healthcare Foresight. Velma’s operational experience and her background in education, technology and leadership along with her consulting skills offer a unique perspective she uses to help healthcare leaders through organizational change.
