Presentation Overview:

Lunch and Learn - Industry Spotlight: Nuclear Power and Project Management

Join us for our first Industry Spotlight Lunch and Learn! This series will feature project managers from various industries highlighting how they utilize project management in their specific field. We are thrilled to have Lauren Neuburger kick off the series talking about nuclear power and project management.

Nuclear projects, like nuclear power plants, are special. Even conventional reactor designs are massive, multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects that combine uniquely complex and technical concepts in a heavily regulated industry. While new nuclear projects can rely on operating experience from the robust history of global plant operations, nuclear project managers must rely on their fundamentals: plan, communicate, and integrate. Nuclear project management is not simply about constructing a facility and its associated physical infrastructure. It's about confidently delivering a sustainable energy solution that can be safely, securely, and reliably managed through every step of its life cycle.
